Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) Campaign

This campaign was initiated to highlight the surge in domestic violence during the pandemic and self-isolation at home, and puts a spotlight on the question: “everyone says to stay home, but what if home is not safe?”

Residents and Faculty associated with The University of Toronto Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology worked with the Barbara Schlifer Commemorative clinic to create two IPV resource infographics, which draw awareness to IPV and provide local resources to both healthcare providers and those impacted by IPV. These posters are in line with ACOG and SOGC guidelines, and have been successfully distributed across the GTA in COVID-19 assessment centres, hospitals, and primary care settings.
